Preparation

  • Preheat your grill. It should be large enough to hold 4 pork chops.

  • To make pork chops: place the first 6 ingredients in a clean coffee grinder. Pulse to coarsely chop tea. Transfer to a small bowl. Add orange peel and mix until well blended. Brush pork chops with oil. Rub with tea mixture. Let it stand at room temperature while preparing citrus slaw.

  • To make citrus slaw: mix vinegar,honey,oils and red pepper in a large bowl with wire whisk until well blended. Add broccoli slaw,oranges,bell pepper and green onions. Toss to coat well. Cover. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

  • Brown rounded sides of pork chops by standing chops upright on the grill,turning as the sides brown. Place pork chops,flat side,on grill. Close lid. Cook about 8 minutes or until pork reaches your desired doneness. Transfer pork chops to serving plates. Let stand 3 minutes. Divide citrus slaw among plates.
