8Servings- 3 oz (1.36 kg) russet potatoes, peeled and quartered
- 1 tsp McCormick® Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp McCormick® White Pepper, Ground
- 2/3 cup milk
- 3 tbsps butter
- 1/2 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
Garlic Mashed Potatoes can be made just before serving or up to a day ahead. McCormick® Garlic Powder adds just enough flavor to make them special!

Place potatoes in a saucepan. Cover with water and bring to boil. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 15 to 20 minutes or until potatoes are fork tender.
Drain and return potatoes to pan on low heat. Add McCormick Garlic Powder, White Pepper Ground and salt. Mash with potato masher, gradually adding milk, then butter. Stir in cheese.
